Effective Date: 2026 • Last Updated: 2026

These AI Pharmacist Assistant Terms ("AI Terms") govern your use of the AI Pharmacist Assistant provided through LEGAL_ADDRESS=.

By accessing or using the AI Pharmacist Assistant, you acknowledge and agree to these AI Terms.

1. Purpose of the AI Pharmacist Assistant

LEGAL_ADDRESS='s AI Pharmacist Assistant is an information and professional-support tool designed for pharmacy professionals.

It is intended to help users:

  • find medicine-related information;
  • understand available pharmaceutical information;
  • locate relevant information within trusted reference materials;
  • review medicine-related questions;
  • access information more efficiently during pharmacy operations.

The Assistant is designed to support, not replace, professional judgment.

2. Not a Doctor, Pharmacist, or Healthcare Provider

The AI Pharmacist Assistant is software.

It is not:

  • a doctor;
  • pharmacist;
  • nurse;
  • medical practitioner;
  • healthcare provider; or
  • licensed clinical professional.

The Assistant does not independently diagnose, prescribe, dispense, or treat patients.

3. Professional Responsibility

The pharmacist or other qualified healthcare professional using LEGAL_ADDRESS= remains responsible for professional decisions.

You must independently evaluate whether information provided by the Assistant is appropriate for the specific circumstances.

The use of LEGAL_ADDRESS= does not transfer professional responsibility from the pharmacist, prescriber, pharmacy, healthcare organization, or other professional to LEGAL_ADDRESS=.

4. AI-Generated Information May Contain Errors

You acknowledge that AI-generated responses may contain:

  • inaccurate information;
  • incomplete information;- outdated information;
  • incorrect interpretation;
  • missing context;
  • retrieval errors;
  • hallucinations;
  • calculation errors;
  • inappropriate conclusions; or
  • other errors.

Even when a response includes supporting sources or citations, the presence of a citation does not guarantee that the generated answer is correct, complete, current, or appropriate for a particular patient.

5. Verify Before Acting

Do not rely solely on an AI-generated response when making a clinical, dispensing, prescribing, or patient-safety decision.

Before acting on important information, users should verify the relevant information against appropriate authoritative sources, including applicable:

  • medicine formularies;
  • official guidelines;
  • product information;
  • prescribing information;
  • regulatory requirements;
  • professional standards; and
  • other authoritative references.

Where appropriate, consult a qualified healthcare professional or the relevant regulatory authority.

6. Dosage Information

The Assistant may provide medicine dosage information where such information is available within its reference sources.

However, dosage may depend on factors including:

  • age;
  • body weight;
  • indication;
  • disease severity;
  • renal function;
  • hepatic function;
  • pregnancy;
  • concurrent medications;
  • allergies;
  • formulation;
  • route of administration;
  • treatment history; and
  • other patient-specific factors.

A dosage response generated by LEGAL_ADDRESS= should therefore not be treated as an automatic dispensing instruction.

Users must verify dosage and suitability before administration or dispensing.

7. Patient-Specific Decisions

The AI Pharmacist Assistant is not intended to independently determine:

  • diagnosis;
  • treatment plans;
  • prescription decisions;
  • medication changes;
  • patient-specific dosage;
  • medication substitutions;
  • discontinuation of therapy;
  • emergency treatment; or
  • other clinical decisions requiring professional judgment.

The final decision must remain with an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

8. Prescription and Dispensing Decisions

A response from LEGAL_ADDRESS= does not constitute authorization to dispense a medicine.

Whether a medicine may be dispensed, supplied, prescribed, or administered must be determined according to applicable law, professional requirements, the patient's circumstances, and appropriate authoritative information.

9. Emergency Situations

The AI Pharmacist Assistant must not be relied upon as the sole source of information in an emergency.

If a patient is experiencing a potentially serious or life-threatening condition, appropriate emergency medical services and qualified healthcare professionals should be contacted immediately.

10. Source-Grounded Responses

LEGAL_ADDRESS= is designed to retrieve information from selected reference materials and use those materials to generate responses.

The system may display supporting sources where available.

However:

Source citation does not equal clinical verification.

A retrieved source may be incomplete, outdated, incorrectly interpreted, or not applicable to a particular patient or situation.
